Well folks, it's the start of Black History Month, and as Larry Wilmore would say it is, "...28 days of trivia about Harriet Tubman and The Tuskegee Air Men." So why even have it? Maybe to throw a bone to the African-American community, tell that you were sorry about what had happened and promise that it will never happen again. This obsession of condensing 200 years worth of history in a month (the shortest month as a matter of fact) is a bit trite and demeaning. How come Black History can't be a part of regular American history? Who knows...
